Optimised Websites
More Detailed Information
Where do we begin?
This is a fairly fluid process, we typically start with me suggesting 2 or 3 website designs from templates, to see what appeals to you.
We then discuss who your ideal clients are, after all the website is for them.
What I’d also like to know is, who are the top two clients types you’d most like to attract. This is often based on how profitable they are for you.
Optimisation?
Firstly, it is optimised for the clients you’d most like to work with.
Secondly, we focus on what action or actions you’d like them to take. For instance, book an appointment, fill in a form, get a quote etc.
Thirdly, it is optimised to fit the brand of your organisation.
And fourthly, it is optimised for web search engines, so people can find you. This is done through creating a fast loading, mobile-friendly structure, using a clear page hierarchy and internal linking, and on-page optimisation for your main services and locations.
What is included
As mentioned in the Home page, you get a fully designed and built website of up to 21 pages. This offer applies to general websites, and it excludes specialist websites, such as, blogs, directories, news and e-commerce websites.
The website is built using the Elementor website design package, on a WordPress foundation.
One of the reasons WordPress is such a popular choice with website owners, is its flexibility. And this is, in part, achieved through the addition of optional functionality called ‘Plugins’. I install several plugins for every website to improve performance and security. They are all the free versions, except for Elementor Pro and an Image Optimiser, which I pay for.
This service includes basic support. And by ‘basic’ support I mean changes such as updating existing content, fonts and colours.
Any changes that require more time, for instance adding a new page, is done at a pre-agreed additional one-off cost.
High performance hosting is included, so you don’t have to shop around or manage another tech service.
If you already have a domain name, we’ll connect it to your new site. If not, I can guide you through registering one that fits your brand.
Email can remain where it is (e.g. Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace), or I can advise on the best setup if you’re starting from scratch.
What if you have a website?
If you’d like to keep you current website, then I could offer an ‘audit’ style service, where I review the site and make recommendations.
Or I could take the content from it, and use it to build a new one.

How long does this process take?
From initial discussions to the first website draft normally takes about one to two weeks.
I allow up to 3 revisions. In practice, I’ve found this more than enough.
This initial process is for a desk-top design. Once this is agreed, then I can adapt it to tablet and mobile phone screen sizes. This takes another day at most.
Who supplies the content?
You can provide the content if you already have it – or I can help shape and refine it so it’s clearer, more compelling, and search-friendly.
Most clients prefer a collaborative approach: you bring the raw ideas and knowledge of your business, and I polish it into web-ready content that sells.
