Get focused on a speaking topic that underpins your core digital offering…
So if you are a consultant with particular expertise, all your talks need to be inline with your core digital offering so you can constantly throughout the year market the digital product over and over again.
A word of warning, your core offer is not your premium 1:2:1 time, you should not be offering this as an option, at the end of a your talk as you will turn people off and significantly reduce your uptake and increase in sales… It’s just going to be too soon unless they are in so much pain that they have made a decision to work with you. Let’s be honest that number is going to be low.
What does a digital core offer look like?
It’s in one respect a showcase of your expertise, you create it just once and sell it over and over again throughout the year, you then layer on top of your core offer lower and higher priced services.
My Core offer is a my 3 month Group intensive training programme, it’s set in the heart of my business and showcases what I do… so it’s very easy for me to TOP and TAIL it…This course is what I class as my bread and butter, it brings me in a significant income.

Let me give you an example of topping and tailing.
Throughout the year I consistently need to be leading people to my core offer, all I need to do throughout the year is point people towards the course by introducing then to 2 lower priced online courses that are closely related.
Each online course is interconnected the natural next step.
The Secrets of a successful Virtual Summit Speakers and how to become one today and an Introduction to Virtual summits have been amazing products, and each one only took me a couple of days to make.
I use these products as the starting point into my sales funnel..
They are the first steps someone is going to take…
The bottom of that sales funnel
Are your higher priced services, more of your 1:2:1 time, so each step of the journey they are building a relationship with you.
In the past I have created products that have been discounted so I have not been able to get any leverage.
When you create a core online offer, you absolutely have to connect the dots for people, and at the same time increase the cost if you are introducing more personal 1:2:1 time.
If you don’t have a core offer don’t worry about it, I am going to show you a way you can fill your programmes without it even being created.
Let’s just say you haven’t created it yet, all you need t do is for the first digital core product is create a Beta group program and offer it at a reduced cost.
Let’s just say your first Beta group program is £600 and 10 people join.
In the next quarter, you market it again and increase the price and make another 10 sales.
As people become more engaged, they will natural filter through into higher priced services to get more of your 1:2:1 support.

Internet marketing is all about driving people to your stuff… it can be costly and almost impossible if you do not know what you are doing.
That is one of the reasons why you need to have a collective mindset for working closely with others to create real-time engagement so you can connect with your audience in the here and now, the present moment.
The power of relationships
Once you have a core digital product, you can then identify and reach out to other business owners who attract the same group of people you need to get in front of, but who are not in direct competition with you…
Cherish your relationships by providing significant value for their community and you will gain financially for years to come.
Let’s just say you reach out to 10 business owners, 6 out of those 10 say yes to working with you on a Joint Venture project, you plan a really simple but highly effective mini-marketing campaign.

You increase your buyer list, for potential future earnings, plus you make five sales, £3,000
£1440 goes back to your partner for introducing you,
You are in profit by £1560
That might be pure profit if you have already covered your cost for making your core digital product.
With this arrangement, you would also be introducing your partner to the community, so you’re also going to be able to make a commission on any sales made.
Now I can hear a couple of you saying, Wendy, I do not have a digital core offer, that’s cool because what I am going to talk about next is how to leverage your own media channel to help you create a core digital offer that people will buy before you have even created it.

Let me tell you a true story,
Last year I was invited to watch a client speak at a business trade exhibition, I of course, said yes, after all, I love seeing my clients in action. So I’ve taken a day out of the business and so has my client, between the two of use our day falls into the thousands.
I get to the event and am somewhat baffled that there is no one waiting to hear the talk. The event is busy but everyone seems to be over the other side of the room. It’s nothing to do with my client it is purely that the event was badly managed sound familiar?
Over the years I’ve been able to reach 1000s of people all over the world without leaving my home by creating my very own media channel and leveraging the power of relationships to explore my visibility, impact, and authority, leading me to become the go-to expert in my field.
